Bus Communication

This trial has enabled us to introduce a highly advanced bus to network communications system.

Using multiple cutting edge modems fully integrated into the circuit board within the unit itself means that the advanced software can automatically detect signal strengths for different radio and mobile phone systems, and automatically select the most efficient and appropriate one to use, whether it be WiMax, GPRS, 3G or PMR.

This allows for ultra reliable contact between the bus and the base whilst minimising costs of transmission, and also increases the quantity of data types that can be sent in real time.

This trial has resulted in bus passengers receiving better real time information and faster whilst on the move.
